The Nanaimo Baby Fair is taking place Saturday, February 28th and Sunday March 1st at Beban Park Social Centre. Tickets are $6.00 person per day or $7.00 for the weekend; children under 12 are admitted free. Coupons for $1.00 off admission will be available at Inspired Health on Wesley Street all this week.
At the Fair, look for Dr. Marianne speaking about tips for introducing solid food to babies at 12:30pm on Saturday, and on strategies for preventing asthma, autism and ADHD at 12:30 pm (same time!) on Sunday.
Karyn-grace Clarke, our lactation consultant, is also speaking twice at the Baby Fair. Her first talk on how to make breastfeeding work for you, is on Saturday at 3:00pm. On Sunday, she will be speaking on how to breastfeed and and still have a life! at 2:00pm.
